The PCIe to PCI x4 Kit is a PCI Bus expansion kit with all the components needed to put into an empty chassis for purposes of PCI/PCIe system expansion.
Included in this kit are the following components:
- 3ft. DVI like cable to connect from PCIe card in Host computer to the PCI port connection of the optional chassis (not included).
- An additional card bracket for PCIe card optional low profile assemble.
- PCIe Card.
- Software driver and utility disc.
- 4 slot PCI expansion board with integrated port connection.
- Chassis bracket for board assembly to chassis.
The PCIe to PCI expansion kit is designed to expand to incorporate an extra 4 PCI slots from your computers PCI Express slot. The PCI Express card can provide a scalable, high-speed serial I/O bus that maintains backward compatibility with PCI applications and drivers, this delivers a high-performance, point-to-point interface with 250Mbytes/sec to 4Gbytes/sec architecture.
Taking advantage of this kit means assuring Plug-and-Play compatibility and no IRQ and I/O address conflict problems allowing you to expand your I/O resource to grow with your requirements.
Note: A supporting chassis is not included as a part of this kit.

It works well!
Talked to the tech guy on the phone before purchasing. He was honest and straight forward, and answered all my questions. The Pci component is just like its own motherboard so you have to use an operational tower with it that provides the 5v + Gnd connectors to the on/off switch. And of course provide your own power supply unit.
I wanted this to work with my Xonar HDMI1.3 Audio Card with True Blu-ray Audio (https://www.asus.com/Sound-Cards/Xonar_HDAV13_Slim/) since my new motherboard doesn’t have the old pci slots anymore. It’s working perfectly at the moment . After installation, upon bootup nothing was recognized so I popped in the disc and installed the drivers. The Express Booster was the program/driver that made it recognize my audio card and the pci expansion. Both were popped up in the device manager as unknown devices. After installing the audio card drivers, it was recognized in the device manager and all is great 😀
This is a bit expensive but if you want something that will work then I recommend this product. I tried the startech pcie to pci adapter with this same audio card and it didn’t work. Luckily I found this product 🙂
